THE ABC/ Community

Community is a group of people with an arrangement of responsibilities, activities and relationships. In many cases, a community has a defined geographical boundary. A group of people who are living in one particular area or people who are considered as a unit, because of their common interest, social group or nationality. A group of households that identify themselves in some way as having common interests, connections, values, resources or needs as well as physical space. A social group of any size whose members reside in a specific locality, share government and often have a common cultural and historic heritage.
