This Forum is part of a global momentum towards sustainable
and multi-partner development. The platform intends to bring together actors of
public-private partnerships and offer them a space for learning and sharing.
The Forum will mark the launch of a long-lasting
International Platform on Public-Private Partnerships for Sustainable
Development. This platform will offer a information and meeting space for PPP
actors. It is built on two components:
Regular international events, bringing together actors from
the public and private sectors, as well as from international organisations,
financial institutions, civil society and the academic sector. This Forum will
be the first of these regular events.
A lasting virtual platform, to continue
exchanges started during the events and provide an interactive comprehensive
repository on PPPs for sustainable development. This platform will constitute
an attractive and convenient meeting space for the supply and demand sides of
partnerships.
