The Urban Age ‘Shaping Cities’ conference at the 2016 Venice Biennale will investigate how people, institutions,
policymakers, investors and designers affect the physical form
of cities, and how this impacts on the way we live in cities. It will
expose the arguments behind the major conflicts on how cities are
planned, governed and designed, and investigate the impact of large and
small-scale solutions on urban integration.
